Personal Lab Allergy™

Overview

PersonalLab Allergy is an automated analyser developed for the processing of microplate-based immuno-enzymatic techniques for allergy testing.

It allows for simultaneous processing of two microplates, i.e. up to 180 test/session, and in the same assay run can be programmed for total IgE and specific IgE

PersonalLab Allergy is part of integrated Allergen System represented by:

Dedicated closed-system instruments which can tackle all laboratories' allergy needs in terms of effectiveness of test, automation of processes and depth of allergens.

The instrument is managed by a dedicated software, PersonalLAB™Allergy Software, that operates within the Windows 9X operating system. It is therefore user friendly as the operating system enables the user to click on icons to navigate within the programs.

The PersonalLAB™Allergy software package comes with a list of Allergens pre-programmed by a Technical Support Representative.

The sample tubes can be labelled with pre-printed Barcode ID labels. These labels are read by a Bar Code Reader before loading the tubes on the rack. Alternatively, Bar Codes may be entered manually using the keyboard.

The Personal LAB Allergy is equipped with an automated arm for the processing of samples, standards, controls and reagents. This arm can be programmed to use a metal needle or disposable plastic tips for an essay. The arm dispenses samples using a disposable plastic tip. Since the tip is only used once all tip carry-over is eliminated.
